The story of how 18 men created an ocean of tears, destroyed hearts and underwear, impregnated millions of women they’ve never met, and smiled while they did it.
“So no one told you life was gonna be this way…”
“You want to know the horrible truth? I can’t even remember what she looked like. I only know she was the one thing I ever wanted. Someone took her away from me,and Seven Kingdoms couldn’t fill the hole she left behind.”
1 woman | 6 men : soooooooooooo many (attractive) possibilities
After six months at Marymount, he moved back to Sweden to chase after a girl he’d met only three weeks prior to his trip to New York. “This was before Skype, and it was really expensive to call,” he says. “She broke up with me after six months and I was devastated, very naïve—not old and bitter like I am now. After she dumped me, I was like, I’m coming home, baby! Please take me back! I rode into town on my white stallion thinking I was saving the most beautiful relationship in the history of mankind. She dumped me again a couple months later.”

and it’s not morbid at all;
Just when nature’s had enough of you.
When my blood stops, someone else’s will not.
When my head rolls off, someone else’s will turn.
And while I’m alive, I’ll make tiny changes to earth.
-Frightened Rabbits, “Heads Roll Off”
Humans have relocated to a ‘Goldilocks planet’ three years travel from Earth named Caelus. Caelus was colonised after a deadly epidemic - T. mortusortus - rapidly spread across the globe back on Earth. Forty-two spaceships fled the dying planet to Caelus. This happened fifteen years ago. Now the year 2060, Caelusians live in ignorance of Earth’s fate and continue their lives on their new home as if nothing happened.
One night they are hit by a solar storm, and the whole colony blacks out for 27 minutes. When power is restored it’s discovered that a woman, Danielle Gould is missing, and she leaves a bloody handprint and smear of blood behind. When virologist Claire Morgan (Rose Byrne) studies the blood sample she finds something odd. Something which slightly resembled the T. mortusortus strain, but an evolved version of it. That night, three more people were taken. Caelus increases its security measures and assured the Caelusians that the matter was being taken care of. The night after, a child was taken. The morning after, they find a zombie walking outside the bakery. They’re back. Two shots to the head and it dies, again. But the colony is thrown into chaos. They’re getting picked off one by one, and this time, the zombies are a bit more smarter and patient than they were before. It quickly becomes clear that it’s not how long until a solution is found, but how long you’ll last for.
Somehow Claire finds herself teamed up with ex-Secret Service Jack Webster (Alexander Skarsgard), slightly-sociopathic surgeon Penny Cornwall (January Jones) and lowly mechanical engineer and acrophobic Monty Isles (Garrett Hedlund). After a few successful encounters with zombies the four decide to stick with each other to try and survive. But when you’re quickly running out of ideas, what exactly do you do next?
